At 3:37 a.m. on August 12, Harvey County contacted Marion County Dispatch and advised that a subject jad jumped from a moving train somewhere around the Marion-Harvey County line near US 50 Highway on the BNSF tracks.
They requested officers check the area to see if the subject could be located. At 10:30 a.m. Troopers from the Kansas Highway Patrol located the body of Timothy Ogle Pfeiffer, 31, last known adress of Greensburg, Indiana.
Identification was made with an ID found on his person. Injuries to Pfeiffer were consistent with falling off a train.
