People attending the next session of Tabor College Learning in Retirement, Monday, Oct. 31, will walk down memory lane, recalling the days when families gathered around the radio to be entertained by variety programs.

?Lefty? Levi Goossen, as J.R. Brinkley, will recreate the 1952 ?Evening Gospel Hour.? He will perform the show complete with commercials ?almost the way it was.?

LIR meets at 9:45 a.m. in the lobby of the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center. Registration for the entire series of sessions is $15 per semester for an individual or $29 per couple. Those who wish to attend only an individual session, admission is $4.

LIR participants can eat lunch in the cafeteria following the program for a discounted price of $4.

For more information, contact Connie Isaac, coordinator, at 620-947-5964, or conniei@tabor. edu. The schedule can also be found online at tabor.edu/about-tabor/learning-in-retirement.
