Lincolnville man competes in cookoff at Tri-County FairBenny Key, owner of Key Convenience Store in Lincolnville, was one of several people participating in the Tri-County Free Fair Cookoff Friday in Herington, but he was the only cook from Marion County. Key, who said he enjoys cooking, took second place last year at the Tri-County Fair with help from his four grandchildren: Caden, Kylie and Madysen Moffett, Kelsey Hett and son, Josh Moffett. This year, Key said he made pulled pork and brisket, along with chicken wings, in the people?s choice competition, taking a third place overall and second place for his brisket. Tickets were $5 per person and included four tickets to sample meals and vote on favorites. Other winners were unavailable at press time.
