Hannaford elected as KLTA prez

Roger W. Hannaford III, president of Hannaford Abstract & Title Co. Inc. of Marion, was elected president of the Kansas Land Title Association.

Hannaford is the fourth generation of family members to serve as president of the Marion business. He began work as a licensed abstractor and title insurance agent in 1980.

Hannaford will serve as the KLTA president for one year. In that role, he will lead several committees within the organization, including planning for continuing education hours for those in the title business licensed as abstractors and title insurance agents.

His other duties will be to act as ambassador to other state?s conventions and to plan events for the American Land and Title Association.
