Goessel group gives grants

The Goessel Community Foundation, an affiliate of Central Kansas Community Foundation, awarded seven community grants last month at a Recognition Dinner hosted by the Foundation Board.

$900—Bethesda Home from the Goessel Senior Endowment to supplement expenses for the Friendship Meal Program.

$300—Goessel Elementary School from the Impact Fund for literacy kits and supplies for children ages birth through 5 who attended the Early Learning Family Engagement Night.

$300—Tabor Church from the Impact Fund for supplies for the Goessel Community Day Camp this summer.

$300—Goessel Public Library from the Impact Fund to help fund STEAM after-school activities.

$250—Mennonite Heritage & Agriculture Museum from the Impact Fund for the Bridge Repair Project.

$250—Marion County Fire District #2 from the Impact Fund for safety equipment.

$100—Tabor Food Pantry from the Impact Fund for purchasing supplies and Keith’s Foods cards needed by the pantry.
