Goessel Goal Getters give their monthly report

The Goessel Goal Getters held a winter party at The Core in Hillsboro on Feb. 16.

The monthly meeting of the Goessel Goal Getters was held at 7 p.m. on Feb 10 in the Goessel High School library. Roll call was “Guess how many candies were in the jar.” It was answered by 35 people. The pledge leader was Mackenzie Voth and the song leader was Maddie Olson.

The club provided a meal for the Kansas first impressions meeting on Jan.21. We also provided cookies to a recent blood drive.

We heard from extension agent Ricky Roberts about a possible extension district formation between Marion and Dickson counties. Brook Nafziger, Cambry Duerksen, and Eli Boden presented demonstrations. The meeting was adjourned.

The Special Events Committee held a winter party at The Core in Hillsboro from 3-5 p.m. on Feb. 16. Fun was had by everyone that was there. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m.on March 9 at the Goessel High School library.
