Goessel Community Foundation hosts it’s annual golf tournament

On Saturday, September 21, Goessel Community Foundation, an affiliate of Central Kansas Community Foundation, sponsored its annual Benefit Golf Tournament at Pine Edge Golf Course near Goessel. A two-person 18-hole scramble, the team of Delbert Peters and Karl Brubaker came in at first place with a score of 52; Chet Roberts and Leroy Koehn second, 54; and Stan and CJ Conover third, 57). Proceeds from the golfers and sponsors totaled approximately $3,500. The annual event raises money to fund the mission of the Foundation.

Goessel Community Foundation was founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated Goessel citizens to assist in providing resources for a broad range of existing and future charitable needs in the Goessel, Kansas area. The mission of the Goessel Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of educational, cultural, civic and economic life in Goessel both today and in the future.
