Goessel Community Foundation hosts fundraiser golf tournament

Chet Roberts of North Newton and LeRoy Koehn from Moundridge placed first at the Goessel Com­munity Foundation’s annual benefit golf tournament at Pine Edge Golf Course Saturday, Sept. 23. Placing second, in a tie-breaker with third place, were the team of Bill Hake, Newton and Matt Seger of Lindsborg. Third place went to Kelly and Jake Wright, a father and son team from Wichita. The GCF’s current fundraising campaign seeks to raise $117,000 for it local Impact Fund by the end of the year and is seeking tax-deductible contributions sent to Goessel Community Foundation, P.O. Box 244, Goessel, KS 67053.
