This photo of flooding across Kanza Road southeast of Hillsboro was taken Monday afternoon after Mother Nature dropped another 2.38 inches of rain during the early morning hours. The same stretch of flooded roadway was pictured in last week?s issue of the Free Press looking to the south, while this photo was taken looking to the north. Through the first 12 days of August, Hillsboro has received 9.61 inches of rain after receiving just over 10 inches of rain during July. Forecasters were predicting more on Monday night into Tuesday.
