The public is invited free of charge to the following programs to be held at 7 p.m. the Goessel city building.
Thursday June 16th – Dave Kendall’s “The Road to Santa Fe” video will be shown which commemorates the first trading mission to Santa Fe in 1821.
Thursday August 18th – Eric Anderson will present “A History of American Indian Boarding Schools”. This topic is much in the news of late.
Thursday October 20th – Marla Matkin will present Women of the Santa Fe Trail with in-depth bios of many famous women who traveled the Trail.
The local Cottonwood Crossing Chapter is a part of the National Santa Fe Trail Association. We promote the remembrance of the great national road of commerce used from 1821-1872.
