Caleb Rempel of Hillsboro checked out a movie Wednesday from Cathleen Fish, library director. With the onset of summer vacation some area children are taking advantage of their newfound freedom by visiting the Hillsboro Public Library. At any given time, Fish said, anywhere from 15 to 20 young people are using one of the computers, reading books, browsing the stacks or borrowing a video. The library at 120 E. Grand Ave. is open Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
