Wayne Baldwin of Benton visits outside Eldon Hett’s rock shed during Saturday’s seventh annual Marion Garden Tour. Director Janet Marler at the Marion City Library said about 150 people attended, which was a “good turnout.” Marler said there were people from Goessel, Hillsboro, Wichita, Sedgwick and one of the out-of-town couples came all seven years. “Each house had two people for two shifts, which was about 15 volunteers and 10 volunteers brought refreshments,” she said. “We are lucky to have this kind of support. Topping off the tour, a floral art show was on display at Gallery 101 on Main Street. Proceeds from the tour will go toward library projects in the future.
