4-H News

• “Dad’s favorite food” was the roll-call response given by 14 members at the June 12 meeting of the Tampa Triple T’s 4-H Club held at 5:30 p.m. in the Tampa Senior Center.

During the council report members were reminded they needed to have their pre-entries for the Marion County Fair done online by July 12. There will be no late entries accepted. When you enter, be sure to over enter the amount of entries you plan to take. You can always not bring something, but you can’t add anything after the July 12 deadline. There is a lot of information in the newsletter from the Extension office. Please be sure to read it carefully.

Two ball games at the Tampa field need to be served. These games are July 10 and July 24.

Anthony Rziha did some magic tricks. Tanner Stuchlik showed how to make a trapping basket. Allie Stuchlik did a talk called “Let’s Sew.” Anthony Rziha led members in a game of “Ultimate Rock, Paper, Scissors.” Refreshments were served by the Kroupa and Stuchlik families.

The next meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the Senior Center at Tampa. Members of the committee are Jensen Riffel, Logan Oborny, Cecelia Rziha, Daniel Rzhia, and Anthony Rziha.
