The Tabor College track and field men and women teams completed their season by finishing second to Southwestern College at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference meet Friday and Saturday at North Newton.

Tabor?s Ashley Malcom took advantage of the two-day format and recorded four top-two finishes.

For the second week in a row, the Hillsboro High girls and boys swept the top prize at an invitational track meet.

Coming off a double win at the James Thomas Invitational on April 27, the Trojan girls scored 109 points Thursday to edge Marion by five points for first place at the nine-school Hess?ton Invitational.

Marion High erupted for six runs in the top of the sixth inning to carry the Warriors to a 7-5 come-from-behind win over Hillsboro on Monday, April 30, at Memorial Field.

Hillsboro won the opener, 8-3.
