The Warriors improved to 2-0 Friday with a 56-0 win over Bennington.
Nathan Bishop ran for two touchdowns and threw four more?two apiece to Adam Benson and Brandon Pickens.
Benson finished with six catches for 121 yards. Trevor Hamm rushed for 125 yards on 16 attempts, and Elliot Spechten?hauser ran for 93 yards on 11 carries.

PBHS plays at Canton-Galva on Friday.

TC women run sixth at Lake Afton

The Tabor College cross-country teams ran at Lake Afton in Wichita on Saturday.

The women?s squad had three runners out but still placed sixth out of 14 teams in its first full-distance run of the season.

?We were not at full strength for this meet,? coach Karol Hunt said. ?Shelby Miller, Amber Wiens and Tesheena Ruzinsky were not able to compete because of injuries.?

Halstead scored first, but it was Marion High that came away with a season-opening 14-2 victory Friday at Halstead.

After a rocky first quarter left Marion in a 2-0 hole, the Warriors rallied for an 8-2 advantage at halftime.

The Tabor College volleyball team swept opponents Avila, Central Christian, Bacone and Stephens at the McPherson College Classic on Friday and Saturday, to open the season with a 4-0 non-conference mark.

HHS tennis takes 2nd at Sterling

In its second outing in three days, the Hillsboro girls? tennis team finished tied for second place among five schools competing at the Ster?ling Invitational on Thursday.

Competing in a round-robin format, Hillsboro scored nine points to finish behind Sterling (13) and tied with Hutchinson Trinity (9). Also competing were St. John (4) and Greensburg (0).

its slate with a 21-12 win over Inman. Elliot Spechtenhauser scored the
first two Warrior touchdowns. The first came as he crashed into the end
zone from six yards out and the second came on a 45-yard dash.
