Senior Scribbles (Week of August 22, 2007)

Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center.

Commondities will be distributed starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23. Join us Friday, Aug. 24 as Carol Wituk comes and shares about the benefits of massage. Monday, Aug. 27 is our Birthday Dinner. Josh and Lisa Wesner will share special music after lunch. Women are invited to Games, Gab and Goodies after lunch on Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center.

Thursday, Aug. 16, we will show ?The Wizard of Oz? after lunch. Men?s Coffee will start at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17. Monday Aug. 20 is Hawaii Day. We encourage seniors to wear any Hawaiian clothing they have into the center. Tuesday, Aug. 21, we will have Show and Tell after lunch. Please bring something from your school days to share.

Please note: Commodity distribution will being at 10 am, Thursday, Aug. 23. This is a change from last week. Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Stephanie Wait, Kansas City. The groom is the son of Frank and Joyce Ashley, Goessel.
