Hillsboro Public
Library?s book discussion group will meet at 9 a.m. Friday, April 13,
in the Hillsboro City Building to discuss ?The Art of Mending? by
Elizabeth Berg.

Copies are available for checkout in large print, regular print and audiobook.

It is not necessary to have read the book to participate.

The Kansas Rural Water Association has awarded its 2006 Water Treatment Plant Supervisor of the Year Award to Morgan Marler, who oversees water production for the city of Hillsboro.

The presentation was made at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 28, during the Association?s 40th Anniversary Conference and Exhibition, held at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita.
