Whitely sells clinic to Newton Medical

Randolph Whitely, M.D., has announced the sale of his medical clinic in Peabody, Heritage Medical Associates, P.A., to Newton Medical Center, effective July 1. Whitely has accepted a full-time position in Herington, effective July 1.

?I believe this new position will afford greater stability for my family and me because I will be able to work regularly scheduled hours during the week,? Whitely wrote in a notification letter to clientele. ?I very much look forward to working less weekend hours and spending more time with my wife and children.?

Whitely opened the clinic in Peabody two years ago.

?Newton Medical Center is committed to providing full services and excellent care to my clinic patients as well as the residents of Legacy Park,? he said.

Leaders from NMC will be meeting with segments of the community ?in the very near future? to help ease the transition, Whitely added.

?I am making sure the community will have a medical presence, and I am very pleased that Newton Medical Center has stepped forward to ensure that very high quality medical care is available right here in Peabody. There will be no interruption of services.?
