The new Wendy?s restaurant in Hillsboro was a beehive of activity Friday night as Chamber of Commerce members and other guests enjoyed free food and drinks from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event was both a ?test run? for employees as well as a celebration for the official opening, which occurred the following morning for breakfast. During the evening, the following participated in a ribbon cutting: David Baker, Chamber president; Nicole Suderman, Chamber president-elect; Ted Morris of the ownership group; Renee Gilkey, Chamber executive secretary; Gary Raemon of the ownership group, and Lily Arthur, Chamber officer. Behind them and to the far right is Dan D?Albini, a familiar face from Hillsboro?s fast-food past and the new store manager.
