The Lumberyard celebrates 125th birthday and a new facility

LUMBERYARD-ribbon.jpg The Lumberyard Inc., 101 N. Ash in Hillsboro, celebrated its 125th anniversary and the opening of its new location on Friday. The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce contributed by recognizing the business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Helping in the celebration were back row: Jon Hefley, Sonja Hefley, Debbie Collier, Kevin Bass, Mike Buller, Al Isaac, Mayor Delores Dalke and front row: Nicole Suderman, Katherine DeFilippis, Ruby Hefley, Renee Gilkey, Martin Rhodes, Lily Arthur, Aaron Schumucker and Jim Hefley. Hundreds of people congratulated the family and others by visiting the store Friday and Saturday.
