Gary Hill, account manager with Pioneer Seed, spoke with area producers about the different corn, sorghum and soybean hybrids Friday at a test plot on Mark Meisinger?s bottom land, about 2 miles west of Marion. Terry Vinduska, a Pioneer Seed representative, said more than 50 farmers toured test plots near Marion and Tampa to see for themselves how the newer hybrids and genetics compared depending on the type of soil and conditions present during the growing season.
