Tabor reaches $1 mil. funding goal for 2nd year

For the second consecutive year, the Tabor College department of advancement has surpassed the million-dollar goal for its annual fundraising campaign.

This is the first time in school history that the Tabor Fund has been fully funded in consecutive years.

Ron Braun, vice-president of advancement, said he is grateful for the many friends of Tabor College for their ongoing financial support of the institution.

?We are blessed to have so many faithful donors, as well as many new supporters willing to aid the mission of Tabor College,? Braun said. ?Without their gifts, Tabor College could not effectively provide a Christ-centered education for so many young people who will someday change the world.?

President Jules Glanzer added, ?Tabor has the most generous, committed and dedicated constituency. The annual fund is a love offering of our alumni and friends. Their faithfulness, generosity, and open hearts constantly amaze and touches me deeply.?

Braun said the constituency expressed excitement about the future of Tabor College.

?Many are excited about the growth and success Tabor College is experiencing,? he said. ?They are choosing to faithfully pray for and generously partner in the mission.

?All that we celebrate?record enrollment, the record amount of annual contributions to the Tabor Fund, lives transformed, and souls won?we owe it all to our Lord.?
