St. Luke Urgent Care Clinic adjusts its hours of service

St. Luke Hospital has changed the hours of its Urgent Care Clinic from noon-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, to 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday effective Feb. 11.

“We’ve been very pleased with the response of the community to our opening of Urgent Care at St. Luke,” said Jeremy Ensey, St. Luke CEO. “However, there are times we must change to improve our service and better accommodate those in our community.

Officials said the change will allow St. Luke to better serve those who become ill or suffer a minor injury after 5 p.m. Friday.

Instead of patients having to wait until noon the following day, they are able to access the clinic at 9 a.m.

The change also will make it easier for patients who need to have prescriptions filled by Lanning Pharmacy, which is open until noon on Saturdays.
