Shewey joins MB Foundation staff

Andy Shewey has begun work as a representative for MB Foundation, the stewardship ministry of the U.S. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, located in Hillsboro.

Shewey joins the foundation staff after five years in the admissions department of Tabor College and, most recently, more than 15 years as a financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial Services.

As am MBF representative, Shewey will encourage charitable contributions through current giving, estate planning and lifetime gift plans. He also will provide MBF programs and services to individuals and ministries throughout the Central and Southern districts of the MB conference.

?Andy brings vast experience in assisting individuals and families in meeting their financial objectives,? Jon Wiebe, MBF president and chief executive officer. ?We look forward to his application of these skills to help individuals and ministries meet their financial and charitable objectives.?

Shewey is also excited about the career shift to vocational ministry.

?I look forward to helping those in the MB community with financial stewardship solutions,? he said.
