Phyfer to begin practice at St. Luke Hospital, July 9



K. Anne Phyfer has joined St. Luke Hospital and Living Center as a family physician and will begin seeing patients of all ages July 9.

?We?re extremely pleased that Dr. Phyfer has chosen to join us,? said Jeremy Arm?strong, St. Luke Hospital chief executive officer. ?Dr. Phyfer will be dedicated to the St. Luke Physician Clinic full-time and we look forward to her providing excellent care to our patients.?

Most recently, Phyfer worked as an emergency room physician at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

She received her pre-medicine degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, then earned her medical degree at the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Ill.

Phyfer completed her internship and residency at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, where she also served as chief resident for two years.
