The Peabody Main Street Association (PMSA) received three Governor?s Awards for Excellence Oct. 11 in Hutchinson.
Secretary of Commerce David Kerr presented the awards.
PMSA received an award for promotion/special event for the 2006 Christmas event, Peabody Prairie Christmas presents Western Wonderland; an outstanding fundraising award for the March 2007 Peabody Main Street Association to Die for Dessert Auction; and a Volunteer of the Year award to Susan Marshall, PMSA organization chair.
