New gym opens up in downtown Hillsboro

A previously empty storefront on Hillsboro’s Main Street has been filled with a much needed business.
Infinity Fitness is a gym that provides “local fitness at affordable prices” according to their website.
“Fitness has always been a passion of mine and it was something I could bring to the community,” said
owner Ryan Franz. Franz, who grew up in Hillsboro, said they had a soft opening on Saturday, June 5,
and they are having a grand opening on June 19. “We are open 24/7. I’m here for sign-ups from 12-2 p.m.
and 5-7 p.m. every weekday and then every Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.,” said Franz. The gym offers
single, couple, family, student, teacher, senior and military memberships. Kids must be 10 years and older
to workout in the gym and must be supervised by an adult until 18 years old. Franz has a team of highly
qualified trainers. According to their website, each of the fitness instructors “have gone through certified
training programs, specializing in a variety of different skill sets, they can provide training for all stages
of the fitness journey so you can decide for yourself.” The gym has weights and all kinds of machines
such as treadmills and other workout equipment to accommodate those just beginning to those who have
been working out for years. “We are also setting up different classes such as yoga, spinning and boxing,”
said Franz. For questions or more information, you can reach Infinity Fitness at
