Munoz to share business insights

at Tabor College lecture series

José Muñoz, former CEO of Chicken of the Sea, will be on campus March 9 as the latest speaker in the Nachti­gall Lecture Series.José Muñoz, former CEO of Chicken of the Sea, will be on campus March 9 as the latest speaker in the Nachti­gall Lecture Series.

Muñoz will speak to students throughout the day and address the public at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The public from Hillsboro and surrounding communities is encouraged to attend.

Muñoz has more than 35 years of international consulting and executive management experience. He has visited, worked in or conducted business in 81 countries.

He has more than 20 years of teaching experience at both the MBA and undergraduate levels and is currently associate professor of business at the Fer­manian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Calif.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is fluent in both Spanish and English.

The objective of the lecture series is to bring high profile, nationally recognized, successful and inspiring entrepreneurs and educators to Tabor.

Guest lecturers provide information about their business experiences and activities to explain to students how they can become successful after graduation.

“This series has already had an impact on students,” said Jules Glanzer, Tabor president. “We have been fortunate to kick off the program with a slate excellent of speakers from a variety of backgrounds.”

Through 2016 and 2017 Tabor has scheduled four talks from a variety of speakers. Tabor alumnus and author Jeff Riggenbach will be on campus in April for the final session of the year.
