Marion Die and Fixture recieved special recognition from the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program last week.

In the photo above, owners Diane Richmond and Don Bredemeier (left) received the SHARP plaque from Steve Zink, director of labor for the Industrial Safety/Health of Kansas, and Glenn Taylor, regional director of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The award, sponsored by both KDOL and OSHA, is presented to less than 100 employers out of 75,000 in the state. The award recognizes small companies that operate an outstanding safety and health management program.

In addition to receiving the plaque, Marion Die and Fixture will be exempt from programmed inspections through April 2010.
