Lu Janzen, chief executive officer of Parkside Homes Inc. in Hillsboro, recently was reappointed by Gov. Mark Parkinson as a member of the Kansas Advisory Council on Aging.
KACA provides advocacy for the aging in the affairs of the governor?s office and other public and private, state and local agencies.
The council also serves as an advisory group according to the Older Americans Act with the duties of reviewing and commenting upon various activities of the Kansas Department on Aging to help ensure protection and quality service for elderly Kansans.
