Hillsboro Ford distributes $4,040 from Drive 4 UR School event

Terry Hagen and Randy Hagen (far right), co-owners of Hillsboro Ford, presented a check Nov. 7 to Lena Kleiner, representing the Hillsboro High School Trojan Booster Club, for its share of the money raised through the dealership’s annual Drive 4 UR School promotion Sept. 23. On hand for the presentation were Max Heinrichs (from right), USD 410 superintendent, and Clint Corby, HMHS principal. This year, for the first time, booster clubs from Goessel, Marion and Peabody-Burns high schools participated in the fundraiser. For every test drive of a Ford vehicle on that day, Ford Motor Co. donated $20 to the cause; the funds were divided among the schools according to their number of approved sign-ups. Of the $4,040 raised, Hillsboro-USD 410 received $2,900, Goessel-USD 411 received $700 while Marion-USD 408 and Peabody-Burns-USD 397 each received $220. “The dealership is looking forward to next year’s Drive 4UR School as we try to collaborate our resources for the whole county,” Terry Hagen said. “The more we can drive and keep our business in the county, the better it will be for the whole county.”
