Hillsboro Chamber members hear about new medical clinic

ChamberBrett Nedich (gesturing), lead physician at the newly opened Medical Plaza of Hillsboro, contributes to a noon box-lunch discussion sponsored Dec. 10 by the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce in the Scout House at Memorial Park. Nedich said he will be seeing patients at the clinic each day on a half-time basis. Seated to Nedich?s right is Keri Bell of Hillsboro, who works full-time in the Hillsboro clinic as a nurse practitioner. Also on hand to answer questions were three Newton Medical Clinic officials: Christopher Kelly (white shirt in photo), director of business development; Matt Green, director of clinic business office; and Mike Keller, chief operating officer. Medical Plaza of Hills?boro is currently operating at 122 N. Main; NMC officials said Tuesday the plan is to begin building a new facility in spring along D Street, on the open lot formerly occupied by Hill Crest Motel. The new clinic hosted an open house Dec. 5 and began seeing patients Dec. 9.
