Halstead couple buys Scharenberg practice

After serving clients for 35 years in Marion County and the surrounding area, Dennis Scharenberg announced last week that he has sold his practice and chiropractic office in Hillsboro to Kodi and Jarrod Panzer of Halstead, effective Oct. 24.

The couple, both doctors of chiropractic, also own Halstead Chiropractic, where Jarrod will continue to serve clients while Kodi will be based at the Hillsboro office starting Oct. 31.

?My husband and I had been searching for an opportunity to purchase a clinic in a small community,? Kodi Panzer said.

?We are both from small Kansas communities and enjoy the people and lifestyle associated with being involved. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to be involved with a small, yet progressive and growing community.?

Kodi Panzer said she will specialize in will specialize in the following areas: (1) neck pain, back pain and disc conditions; (2) pediatrics; (3) sports injuries and chronic joint pain.

She has practiced for the past two years in Halstead and Valley Center and is continuing her education in pediatrics.

Scharenberg said he will be in the Hillsboro office through Nov. 7 to introduce Kodi Panzer to his patients. After that date, he will be praciticng full time in the Wichita area.

?It has been my pleasure to serve the people of Marion County and the other surerounding communities for the last 35 years,? Scharenberg wrote in his announcement letter to patients.
