The awards were presented at the Governor?s Conference on Aging Services in May to 10 Kansas adult care facilities for their efforts to provide resident-centered care. PEAK stands for Promoting Excellent Alter?natives in Kansas nursing homes. Greenlee praised Parkside Administrator Lu Janzen (looking on in the photo), her staff and the residents for working together to move the facility from an institutional feel to a family feel where the individual needs of residents are a priority. Adding their congratulations during the program were Hillsboro Mayor Delores Dalke, Marion County Commissioner Bob Hein and State Rep. Don Dahl.
