Anita Goertzen, certified municipal clerk of Goessel, was among the more than 80 municipal clerks and finance officers from across Kansas attending the 2007 Master Municipal Clerk Academy Nov. 15-16 in Wichita.
The academy was sponsored by the Center for Urban Studies, Hugo Wall School of Urban and Public Affairs, Wichita State University and the City Clerks and Municipal Finance Officers Association of Kansas.
The academy aims to improve job performance and recognizes professionalism.
