MB Foundation has added capital-campaign services to the financial programs it offers through its headquarters at 315 S. Lincoln, Hillsboro.
The services are now being offered through MBF and its partnership with Dickerson & Associates.
?We have become the premier lender in our (Mennonite Breth?ren) community,? said Jon C. Wiebe, president and chief executive officer. ?It was time to broaden our services by offering capital campaign consultation.?
Consultation services may be used to assess a congregation?s readiness to build, create a building fund, pay off debt or enhance operational objectives.
MB Foundation is aligned with the U.S. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. In the past year, it has financed building projects for growing congregations in North Carolina, Texas and Atlanta, Ga.
While much of MB Founda?tion?s work is national in scope, $113,373 was distributed in 2010 to five Men?nonite Brethren ministries in Hillsboro: Tabor College, Parkview Church, Hillsboro MB Church, Hillsboro Area Mini?ster?ial Association and Main Street Ministries.
The funding forwarded to them included both donor-advised funds and grants directly from MBF due to the foundation?s decision to lead in ?Advent Conspiracy,? a movement that focused on encouraging people to be ?worshiping fully, spending less, giving more and loving all? during the past Christmas season.
The amoung of assets under MBF management grew to more than $118 million during 2010.
