Marlene Fast shakes hands with Glenn Thiessen as he prepares to take ownership of Fast Realty, the business she started in 2002. Thiessen, currently an agent with the company, will formally take over Aug. 1. Even after that date, Fast said she will continue to sell real estate through Fast Realty. "I am not leaving town,? she said. ?I want to be free to do a better job working with buyers and sellers. I will let Glenn worry about the day-to-day decisions. I think he?ll do a real good job with it.? Fast said she has appreciated the way the Hillsboro community supported her over the past five years. ?I cannot thank the town of Hillsboro enough,? she said.
