Construction begins on new Greenhaw Pharmacy facility in Hillsboro

Workers with Hett Construction of Marion began moving dirt Monday morning for the new Greenhaw Pharmacy building at the corner of Ash Street and Orchard Drive in Hillsboro. When completed, the 3,500-square-foot building, which will include a drive-up window for pick-up orders, will better serve Greenhaw’s clients, according to owner Eric Driggers. “We’ve been wanting to do this for years,” he said in a 2015 interview. “I think it’s a service that we needed and we can provide to the community.” He added: “I have lived in this community for my entire life. We want to be able to continue serving this community as long as we are able. This new facility will allow us to have a higher service level than our current location allows.”
