This year?s event will include a talent show, silent auction and the customary passing of the gavel.
?Traditionally the evening?s entertainment has included a speaker and dinner, but this year we?re going to shake things up,? said Chamber Director Christy Wulf. ?We spend all year planning and working to make Hillsboro a better place to live, work, and play, we need to take the time to celebrate all the good we have done.?
The silent auction will include donations from more than 30 businesses and organizations.
The public is invited to come watch friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers compete for a $150 prize in the first Chamber Talent Show. Among the entries are Clint Siebel and the Professors, Kelsey Unruh, Taytum Miller, Lisa Schafer, Sonja Maddox and Roger Kohls.
Tickets for the annual dinner are $20 and can be purchased at the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, located at 109 S. Main. For more information, call the Chamber at 620-947-3506.
