Chamber cuts ribbon for The Salad Bowl, open in Hillsboro on Monday

SaladBowlRibbon776.jpg Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce members, city officials, guests and owners of ?The Salad Bowl? took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday. They are from left to right: Lily Arthur, Renee Gilkey, Larry Paine, Natalie Hoffman, David McGinness, Lola Unruh, Clint Seibel, Brenda McGinness, Delores Dalke, Jon Wiebe, Nicole Suderman, Kodi Panzer and Sheryl Lehr. Brenda McGinness, co-owner of the new business, said The Salad Bowl, 111 N. Grand, opened Monday, June 1, and will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. ?We will have soups, specialty salads, a salad bar, sandwiches and hard-scoop ice cream,? she said.
