Cooperative Grain & Supply and the Ampride stores in Hillsboro and Marion, as participants with the Land O’Lakes Foundation “Feeding our Communities” program, distributed checks totaling $5,444 among four area food banks. The program provides matching funds from the foundation to encourage local co-ops to donate funds to area food banks. This is the sixth consecutive year CG&S and Land O’Lakes have donated to area food banks.
