CoopTarp0704.jpg Members of the Tabor College soccer team pulled a section of tarp over recently harvested corn at Cooperative Grain & Supply in Hillsboro. More than 200,000 of the expected 500,000 bushels will be stored in the bunker to make room for beans and milo in the grain elevators, said Dick Tippin, grain coordinator. The corn harvest test weight looks good and farmers are reporting anywhere from 90 to 180 bushels of corn per acre. ?For this area,? he said, ?we are looking at a bumper crop.? Estimates put harvest at about one-third complete.CoopTarp0708.jpg
