Parkside Homes named one of the best nursing homes by USN&WR

As a celebration of being named one of the best nursing homes for 2017-18 by U.S. News & World Report, Parkside Homes recognized 12 team members who have a combined 170 years of experience serving residents in the areas of nursing, assisted living, maintenance and administration. Valerie McGhee, CEO and administrator, said, “We have terrific team members who come to work every day, knowing that the main focus is on our residents, whom we are called to serve.” She said the field of long-term care changes rapidly and it is one of the most highly regulated industries from both the state and federal guidelines. “It takes special skills and talent to work in long-term care and we want employees who embrace forward thinking and love working with older adults. To be recognized on a national and state level for the excellent work we do is gratifying for all of us.”
