Fundraiser generates $630 for troops

PanzerChaputs145.jpg Kodi Panzer, Hillsboro chiropractor, donated $630 for the Marion County Soldiers Care Package Program to representatives Gary and Karen Chaput of Marion (pictured above with Panzer) last week. Panzer raised most of the money by giving discounted treatments of $10 per patient for the one-year anniversary of her practice in Hillsboro, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10. The Chaputs said the money will be used to buy items for packages from the county that will go to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. They said other costs are defrayed by contributions from veterans' organizations and others.
