CG&S and Land O?Lakes combine for charitable gifts

Lillian Bookless, director of Main Street Ministries, Hillsboro, accepts a check for $850 from Lloyd W. Otte, chair of the Cooperative Grain & Supply board of directors, along with Lyman Adams, CG&S general manager. The contribution was a matching-fund gift in partnership with the Land O?Lakes Foundation. Land O?Lakes Inc., based in Minnesota, is a national supplier for cooperatives and agricultural producers. The check to Main Street Ministries was one third of the total funds distributed to help people in need in Marion County. A check for $850 was presented to the Marion County Food Bank in Marion and $840 went to the Canton Ministerial Alliance.
