Walters’ Pumpkin Patch opens for a fall fun season

Fall festivities at Walters? Pumpkin Patch near Burns opened Sept. 20 and runs through Oct. 31.

Visitors can spend an afternoon or an entire day picking pumpkins, running through the corn maze or shopping at the Pumpkin Pantry Gift Shop.

Also offered are the O?Play Barn and jumping pillow, both new to the patch this year. Country food from the concession stand is avialable for purchase before taking a hayride.

A private campfire can be reserved.

Also available are a bag swing, Mountain Boo, Punkin Chunkin, pedal cars and pedal boats, a barrel train, hay jumps, a no-left-turn maze, a wildflower trail, fishing, a treehouse play area, a pumpkin cannon and a trike track.

On Friday and Saturday nights Walters? has a flashlight maze. Bring your own flashlight. Admission to the maze is $8, with $1 of the price being donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

A haunted cannery will open in October.

Walters? is open every day from Sept. 20 to Oct. 31. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday with limited attractions; weekday admission is $6.

All attractions are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday with admission of $8.

Hours on Friday and Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
