Simmental breeders and cattlemen will come together July 26 for their annual field day at Cow Camp Feed Yard near Ramona.
The day educational day begins with registration at 10 a.m. at the feedyard.
Breeding cattle will be on display from Cow Camp Ranch, Calf Production Ranch, Triple C Farms and the Cox Family.
A tour of the feedyard will conclude the morning activities.
Pfizer Animal Health and Bovigen will sponsor a 1 p.m. lunch at the Hope Community Center in Hope.
?Application of DNA Techno?logy in Today?s Beef Industry? will be the program presented by Bovigene.
A free lunch and many door prizes will be given away following the program.
A Kansas Simmental Associ?ation annual meeting will be followed by a benefit auction for the Junior Simmental Asso?ciation, which will conclude the afternoon.
Cattle producers from the area are welcome to view the Cow Camp Feed Yard and breeding program of several purebred herds.
