Riffels claim high honors at Hutchinson goat show

Two Riffel families enjoyed success at the Kansas Classic Meat Goat Show in Hutchinson this weekend. Kailyn, Karl and Kyle Riffel each led class-winning entries, receiving embroidered director?s chairs. Callie Riffel placed second in class. Kyle?s entry was named the champion lightweight division winner and later reserve grand champion overall. Karl's class-winner was named reserve champion lightweight. Callie and Kailyn are the daughters of Jeff and Tana Riffel of Lincolnville. Karl and Kyle are the sons of James and Beth Riffel of Tampa. All attend Centre School and are members of the Tampa Triple Ts 4-H Club. Pictured with their animals are (from left) Kailyn, Callie, Kyle and Karl.
