Deer Trail in Marion part of new ‘PrairieLand Partners’

About 250 patrons turned out for the Customer Appreciation Day sponsored last week by the newly renamed PrairieLand Partners in Marion.

Deer Trail Implement Inc., Conrady Western and Pankratz Implement have merged to form PrairieLand Partners..

The merger of the three John Deere Implement organizations was effective Feb. 2. The combined entity will have stores in McPherson, Marion, Emporia, Hutchinson, Anthony, Winfield and two locations in Wichita.

In addition, a corporate support center will be located in Hutchinson. PrairieLand Partners will employee more than 200 people.

?This merger provides all of us with a better opportunity to deliver unsurpassed support for all customers in the areas we serve,? said Doug Neufeld, chief executive officer of PrairieLand Partners. ?We feel this partnership will benefit our customers as well as our employees.?

PrairieLand Partners, with headquarters in Hutchinson, will be one of the largest John Deere dealerships in the central U.S. region.

The company will provide sales and service for all John Deere agricultural products lines, commercial and consumer equipment, and commercial worksite products.

PrairieLand Partners also will also be the John Deere commercial sprayer dealership for the entire eastern half of Kansas.

Other major lines include Kuhn Knight, Great Plains, Unverferth, Orthman, Hay?buster, Shelborne Reynolds and Hustler Turf Equipment.
