Tara Simhiser, 17, of Lehigh, is safe today (Oct. 22) after a bank teller in Hiawatha recognized her from a statewide Amber Alert. As for her alleged kidnapper, Rejilio “Roy” Hernandez, 21, charges are pending in both Brown and Marion counties.
